Municipio de Torreón

El municipio de Torreón es, hoy por hoy, uno de los destinos mas importantes para invertir. Es, sin duda, un polo de desarrollo en donde se han instalado empresas preponderantes para la industria y la economía del país.

El desarrollo económico en Torreón va mas allá, pues se han enfocado en que las compañías que se instalen trasciendan y amplíen sus negocios en un territorio, las cuales se caracteriza por su mano de obra calificada, por la presencia de varias compañías internacionales y por poseer una buena infraestructura vial, hidráulica, sanitaria, eléctrica, de gasoductos y telefónica.

La ciudad ofrece una infraestructura confiable para transportar los productos a mercados nacionales e internacionales, ya que cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada, al encontrarse en el cruce de dos de los ejes mas importantes en el nivel nacional, lo cual le permite estar cerca de ciudades como Laredo, El Paso y McCallen, y a centros de distribución de materias primas como Mexico D.F., Monterrey, Guadalajara, Chihuahua y Ciudad Juarez.

Cuenta también con terminales férreas, aéreas y autopistas que facilitan el traslado de turistas y productos a tal punto, que a la ciudad ya han llegado importantes inversiones que se han realizado en centros comerciales con gran infraestructura y servicios, así como la apertura de cadenas comerciales, hoteleras y franquicias internacionales.

Por otra parte, el municipio cuenta con incentivos fiscales para las empresas como son: el Impuesto Predial y Sobre la Adquisición de Inmuebles (ISAI). Las nuevas compañías que se instalen en Torreón tienen incentivos en ambos impuestos, de 15 a 50%.

En el municipio de Torreón se ubican importantes parques industriales como son: Torreón Industrial City, la Amistad Industrial Park, Small Industrial Zone, Jumbo Plaza Industrial Park, Las Américas Industrial Park, Oriente Industrial Park, Lajat Industrial Park y Ferropuerto Laguna Industrial Park.
